Forty years after the unsolved disappearance of her sister, Nora Lane comes across a diary entry that causes the mystery to resurface. She returns to her hometown to question Martin - an elderly man - about the event, believing he may have been involved. When he denies it, she refuses to leave until she's positive he is innocent.
